📖 What is People Match?

People Match is Mantatal's Chrome extension that allows you to import candidates directly from LinkedIn with just one click. The extension reads the LinkedIn profile and automatically creates the candidate card in Mantatal with all structured data.

🎯 Objective

Install the People Match Chrome extension and use it to quickly create candidate cards by importing data directly from LinkedIn profiles.

This functionality is useful because:

✅ Maximum speed - Candidate creation in seconds from LinkedIn

✅ Complete automation - All fields auto-populate automatically

✅ Zero errors - No manual transcription

✅ Integrated workflow - Direct association to specific Jobs

📋 PART 1: Extension Installation

1. Access the Chrome Web Store

Open Google Chrome
Navigate to the extension page: LINK

2. Install the extension

Click on "Add" (or "Add to Chrome")
Confirm the installation by clicking on "Add extension"
Wait for the installation to complete
The People Match icon will appear in Chrome's extensions bar

3. Open the extension

Click on the People Match icon in the extensions bar
The extension panel opens

Enter your Mantatal account credentials
Click on "Login" or "Sign in"
The extension is now connected to your account

📋 PART 3: Candidate Import and JOB Association

5. Navigate to LinkedIn

Open LinkedIn
Search and open the potential candidate's profile
Open the People Match extension

6. (Optional) Associate to a Job

Before creating the candidate, you can indicate the Job to associate them with by selecting the desired Job from the dropdown menu. (If this field is not filled out, you will import the Candidate without associating them to any Job.)

7. Create the candidate

In the People Match extension, click on "Create Candidate"
Wait for processing (a few seconds)

8. Creation confirmation

A confirmation appears that the candidate has been successfully created
Click the "Open Candidate" button (or "View Candidate")
The candidate's profile automatically opens in Mantatal and all candidate fields have been automatically auto-populated with information from LinkedIn.

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTE:

During LinkedIn import:

❌ The contact does not receive any email or notification of being in a selection process.
❌ The resume is NOT imported from LinkedIn
✅ Only the structured data from the LinkedIn profile is imported

Implications for Custom CV generation:

If you want to create a Custom CV for a candidate imported from LinkedIn through Mantatal:

Use the "Autopopulate from Mantatal Fields" option
The "Autopopulate from Original Resume" option will NOT be available (since the CV is not present)
